Attorney - Tyler W. Lannom
Tyler is a fourth generation Tennessean born and raised in Dickson, Tennessee. Tyler attended Lincoln Memorial University College of Law, where he was Co-President of the Moot Court Team and Vice President of the Mock Trial Team. In law school, Tyler gained valuable experience competing and placing in national tournaments around the country. Tyler has served as an Assistant Public Defender, where he was able to fight for the rights of individuals in Putnam, Clay and Cumberland County. Tyler considers this experience foundational in building his experience as a litigator.
Tyler is a First Lieutenant in the Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps based out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he assists veterans with a variety of legal needs. The Army Values have guided Tyler throughout his career in the Army Reserve, and those same values are followed at Lannom Law, where a client-centered approach and service are considered paramount to providing top notch legal services. As an Army Officer, Tyler is always willing to do what it takes to serve the sons and daughters of the United States who have chosen to wear the uniform in service to the nation.
Tyler focuses his practice on real estate issues and civil litigation. Tyler partners with realtors around the Upper Cumberland to assist Tennesseans through the process of closing on their forever homes, assisting Veterans with achieving disability benefits, and appealing Veteran Affairs rating decisions. Tyler also represents family members through the process of contesting or defending the Last Will and Testament of a loved one, assisting families through the process of establishing conservatorships for a loved one who has become incapacitated, and working with families and financial advisors to come up with effective ways to protect wealth and assets through a variety of Estate Planning strategies.
